Their eyes were watching God

Thank God I finished this book. I had to read this book for school and let me tell its not a book I would have ever picked up or want to pick up. I am happy to have read it but wouldn't read it again. I don't even want to see again but I have to write a paper on it. It's not going anywhere anytime soon unfortunately. It's an okay book I guess. I'm just making it sound really bad because I had to work on it over break.

Born Blue

This book is great. The things that happen to this girl are just nuts. It's one thing then its another and then another. Things just keep happening to her. Her voice is amazing though. The author describes it so well it's like you can hear her. You have the same reaction that everybody in the book has when they hear her. It's a beautiful and sad story.

Glass

Glass is the sequel to Crank. I was shocked when I read it. I couldn't believe it. Her child was only three months and she went back to everything. It's a great book to read but I found it really shocking, sad and interesting. I can't wait for the next book :).

This Lullaby

This Lullaby is a beautiful story. I wish I had read all of Dessen's books before I meet her but it's a little too late for that now. Dessen's books are all amazing but my favorite book of hers is Along for the Ride. Originally it used to be Lock and Key but that changed after I finished reading Along for the Ride. My friend's favorite is still Lock and Key and another friend of my mine loves Just Listen which is a great book too. Sarah Dessen is a wonderful author. She's awsome.

Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

Oh my god!!! I loved Hush Hush. It's absolutely without a doubt one of the best books I have read. I say I love a bunch of books but this book tops a bunch of those. Once I started reading it, I couldn't stop. It was that great. I can't believe I hadn't read it before. I had a friend tell me to read it but I never bothered picking it up until now. W-O-W. The book keeps you on an edge. You don't know what's going to happen next but you can't wait to find out. I give Becca a huge round of applause for her first novel.

Sharing Sam

I loved this book! It was absolutely adorable. The ending was said but the ending made up for it. I have nothing to say but that. I'm completely speechless.

Shiver

When I started reading Shiver, it remained me of Twilight for some reason. I'm not sure why that is. They're definitely different than one another. I loved Shiver. The ending made me want to rip all of my hair out though. I thought I knew how it was going to end but turns out I didn't know anything. The way I thought it was going to end was nothing to how it actually ended. I can't wait for Stiefvater's next book.

Crank by Ellen Hopkins

Last Wednesday, I got to meet the author of this book. She wasn't what I expected but then again I didn't know what to expect. I wish I had this book when I meet her though because I have a few questions I want to ask her about it.

The book was great. I was amazed by it even though I knew what was going to happen.

The book is about her daughter and what happened to her. Her style of writing is unique. At first I found it strange but afterwards I liked it. It was different. She's a great author.

Burned

I began to reading this book on saturday morning and finished it on sunday morning. It took me less than a day to finish it. I loved it. The ending made me cry. It was really sad but it was a great book. Burned isn't the only book Hopkins has written. She has 5 other books as well. I haven't read them but when I find time I will.

Tomorrow Ellen Hopkins is going to come to my school to talk about her books and life which I think is pretty awesome. I can not wait till tomorrow.

I had to read Bottled Up for school. Ugh, i know a school book. This week end i was supposed to read up to chapter 3 but instread i finshed the book beacause of how good it was. I kinda knew what was going to happen to Pip because of someone i know who's similar to him. I began to guess what was going to happen and some things did occur as i had thought but others didn't.

Story Of A Girl is a good book and its short too. If it weren't for school i would have finished it in like a day or two but since i had school i finished it in less than a week. This is a great book. It was a finalist in the National Book Award. You can learn a lot from this book and how people are viewed as.

Fire Study is the third book to Snyder's triology. Yelena's adventures finally come to an end. It took me longer to finished this book because school started so i didn't have much time to read but i finished it and loved it. I don't i've read a book that i really hated. I might not like a book but i would be happy that i read it. Snyder's books are great!!!! I think once I'm done with the books i'm reading i'm going to read her newest series.

Crash Into Me

Crash Into Me by Albert Borris is a great book. Who would have thought that a book with suisidal characters would have been good. Personally people look at me weird when I begin to explain to them what the book is about. It isn't until I explain further about what the book is about that the wierd look vanishes from their face. The book isn't how you would expect it to be. It's an awsome book. I would so recommed anybody to read it. It's a really short book too.

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins is the second book to the triology. Omg!!!! This book was amazing just as the first book was. I didn't know what to expect of it. I knew absolutly nothing about it and wasn't expecting it to be the way it was. I can't wait till the third book comes out. I'm dying to know what happens!!!! What's going to happen to Katniss and to Peeta? I don't want to write much for those who haven't read the book yet so i'm not going to write anything about it. All I have to say is expect the unexpected. Who ever hasn't read the Hunger Games, you don't know what you're missing. Read it!!!

Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side

Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side is Beth Fantaskey's first book!!! If you haven't read it yet, I advise you to read it. It is indeed another Vampire book and it's also another book to sink yourself into. I loved this beautiful story which i just finished reading last night.

Beth's character Lucius is another character to fall for. I know I did. I love the name Lucius. You can say i've become obsessed with it lol.

Magic Study

Magic Study the second in Maria V. Snyder's trilogy. The first book is Poison Study fallowed by Magic Study and lastly Fire Study. So far I've only read the first two books. Magic Study was so good that I couldn't put it down. I finished it in about almost two days!!!! But the best part of it all is that I still have one more book to read to finish. I wonder in what kind of trouble Yelena is going to get into this time?

The Demon's Lexicon

If you are looking for an exiting book to read, you should read The Demon's Lexicon by Sarah Rees Brennan. I just finished the book a few minutes ago. I loved it! I was defiantly not expecting the way twist and turns this book had. It was a tilt-a-whirl ride for me. Read it!!!

The City of Glass

I just finished the third book of The Mortal Instruments series. It was awesome and I loved it!!! I would recommend this series to anyone who's looking for a good book to read.

I was not expecting it to end the way it did. This book had me going crazy to find out what was going to happen next. I couldn't put it down.

My loving parents were so annoyed by me when I was reading it because I kept swearing and laughing out loud at what was going on. At this one point I screamed so loud that I scared both of my parents (For all those who read it already you probably know why I screamed lol). They weren't to happy so they kicked me out. I had to sit outside and read it.

I finally finished the book on monday at 3:34 a.m.

Sarah Dessen's book signing

Yes, I got to meet Sarah Dessen. Even though I missed the Paramore concert to go see her, I don't regret my choice. I love Paramore but I had to see Sarah Dessen. I'm so happy I got to meet her. Sarah Dessen is one of the best authors. So far every book I have read of hers is awesome. I got Lock and Key, Just Listen, and Along for the Ride signed by her. Both my parents and my little brother went with me to meet her. My little brother, Alvaro took this picture. He was suppose to be in it too but I forgot about him when it was my turn. I don't think he mind though.
